LWML SUNDAY
Sunday, October 4

LWML Sunday, observed by the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML), is typically the first Sunday in October, which falls on October 4. This year’s theme continues a four-year cycle focusing on the LWML Mission Statement — As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others. For Lutheran Women in Mission Sunday 2026, we focus on Supporting Missions.

Help support LWML missions by picking up a mite box from the lobby, fill it, and return it when it's full. Your donations make a difference and bring the love and hope of Jesus to those in need.

"SOLA"
Sunday, October 4 @ 9:30 am

Christ Alone

We begin our series by acknowledging a temptation as old as humanity itself: the urge to place ourselves at the center. John the Baptist understood that life works as it should only when we decrease and Christ increases. Whenever we try to add our own boasting, achievement, or spiritual résumé to Christ’s finished work, we end up diminishing the very hope we long for. This message will invite us to examine the subtle ways we elevate ourselves and to rediscover the freedom that comes from resting in Christ Alone – the One who is not merely part of our faith but its foundation, focus, and fullness.

NEW MESSAGE SERIES
Starts Sunday, October 4 @ 9:30 am

SOLA: What Matters Most

One of America’s most popular game shows is Family Feud. Contestants try to guess the most common answers given in surveys, often with hilarious results. Those surveys reveal what sits at the top of people’s minds. As Christians, there are truths that belong not only at the top of our minds but deep in our hearts; truths that anchor our identity, shape our hope, and define our faith. In this new series, “SOLA: What Matters Most,” we’ll revisit the core convictions of the Reformation: Christ Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, and finally, the Cross. These are not abstract doctrines but living realities that steady us in a world full of competing voices. Together we’ll rediscover what matters most, and why these truths still matter today.
