Allowing one wall of the kitchen to open up to back yard made this small footprint home feel more spacious.

Connection to the outdoors is imperative in Southern California coastal residential design. Here, a modest home clad in low maintenance materials, opens itself to the yards and Pacific Ocean beyond.

Finally got to get back into this home for some photos! This project has more function packed into a small package than most of the residences I have designed.

A new little ADU in town. Utilizing strong geometry inherited from the primary residence, this is mostly an exercise in bringing the outdoors inside.

New home on Neptune in Leucadia. Due to a discrepancy between State Law and municipal code interpretation this project as designed may not be built. As much as the State relaxes development regulations during a housing crisis, local municipalities are fighting back.
