Busy day yesterday! Installed switch and wiring for a new chandelier where there wasn’t any fixture before….Installed two all new 240V/50A receptacles and circuits for car chargers….then responded to an emergency call for a non-licensed electricians attempt at wiring circuits.

Improper wiring causes overloaded devices and conductors. It may seem like a simple thing to wire up a receptacle but without proper knowledge and training it can lead to a very dangerous situation. The receptacle on the right was part of the cause for the neutral failure on the left, a loose connection was also at fault.
Please make sure you hire a licensed and ethical electrician when needing any electrical work done….even if it seems simple.

Customer called about intermittent power and lighting issues and I found incorrect breaker had been installed. Due to it not being the correct breaker for the panel the “electrician” who installed it decided to break away the housing to make it fit along with improper wiring. Due to this, serious arc faulting occurred leading to breaker failure, bus bar damage and a very dangerous situation.
