Absentees

Absentees originated in 2003 as Chicago-area based Rock cover band before disbanding in 2008. We are a straight ahead rock band that simply loves to play music.

After a few iterations on lead guitar and as a 4 piece band, the band as of 2020 has re-formed still playing your favorite 90's and early 2000's rock covers! We play a variety of popular rock covers ranging from classic rock, a healthy dose of 90's rock and some 2000's rock. Pretty good chance that you will be familiar with most of the songs we play, as our song selection generally doesn't favor the obscure.
