Meet Our Team: Bekah Lipski, LPC! 🌟
For children, teens, and young adults, putting complex emotions into words isn't always easy. Having a therapist who knows how to listen, adapt, and incorporate creative outlets like art and play can transform the entire healing process.
Bekah’s journey into mental health began in high school, where navigating the balance between academics, sports, and friendships sparked her deep commitment to supporting others. She completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Bellarmine University—serving as a peer support specialist for youth in residential care—and went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spalding University, where she worked as a behavioral health consultant alongside doctors and nurses in an integrated healthcare center.
How Bekah Supports Her Clients & Families:
Expressive & Play-Informed Therapy: When words feel hard to find, Bekah incorporates artistic expression and play alongside evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused therapy.
Specialized Areas of Focus: Bekah supports children, teens, college students, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration.
Collaborative Caregiver Involvement: Bekah recognizes that supporting young people requires teamwork. She partners closely with parents and caregivers to ensure growth and tools carry over into home life.
Person-Centered & Empathetic: Bekah tailors every session to her client's unique personality and pace, striving to be the same grounded, compassionate ally that inspired her own journey into counseling.
Whether your child needs help managing school anxiety, building self-esteem, or navigating ADHD, Bekah is here to support your family every step of the way!

Hello Fall! 🍂
As the leaves change and eventually drop, nature reminds us of the beautiful necessity of letting go. At Patchwork Therapy, we believe that building a better future—both systemically and personally—often requires shedding the old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us.
As we step into a new season, we invite our Elmhurst and Downers Grove communities to embrace transition. What are you intentionally letting go of this autumn?
