🇺🇸 As America celebrates 250 years, we're reflecting on the landscapes that have shaped our nation's story, from George Washington's days as a surveyor to the parks, gardens, and communities we help create today.

In our latest CoHORT (blog), we explore stewardship, design, history, and the enduring legacy of America's landscapes.

Ever stumble over a plant’s Latin name and wonder why we still use them? Take Tradescantia—a familiar plant with a name honoring 17th-century gardener John Tradescant the Elder.

Latin names aren’t just fancy—they bring clarity. Common names vary by region, but Acer rubrum is always a red maple, anywhere in the world. Plus, these names tell stories about a plant’s origin, appearance, or the people who discovered it.

Join us on February 23rd for this year’s Mentoring Monday event—an opportunity to invest in yourself and gain valuable insight to help grow your career.

We’re proud to highlight our president, Colleen Vacelet who was named the 2024 BBJ Mentor of the Year. Passionate about connecting with others and supporting professional growth, Colleen looks forward to engaging with and inspiring participants at this year’s Mentoring Monday event.

This year’s holiday card is inspired by Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost—a favorite winter poem of our founder, Colleen Vacelet—and features original artwork created by her as well.

In the midst of busy days and full calendars, the poem serves as a gentle reminder to pause, reflect, and appreciate moments of quiet beauty. We hope it brings you a sense of calm this holiday season.

Thank you for another wonderful year.
Warm wishes and Happy Holidays from the Intreegue team!
