Earlier this week, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake devastated communities across Colombia, leaving thousands displaced, injured, and in need of urgent assistance.

In this difficult moment, Colombia needs us.

The Latin District Association is collecting donations through tonight for families affected by the earthquake. They also need volunteers to help collect, organize, and prepare donations.

Every contribution and every helping hand matters. Thank you to everyone standing with Colombia. Together, we can show our Colombian community that they are not alone.

Yesterday, the City of Elizabeth honored hometown native, actor, and Guinness World Record-holding basketball entertainer Luis “Trikz” Da Silva, Jr. with a permanent honorary street renaming.

The Elizabeth Youth Soccer Club would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Luis for his generous donation to EYS and the youth of Elizabeth. 🙏⚽️

Luis’ generosity will help us continue to develop young athletes both on and off the field—providing opportunities for them to grow, compete, believe in themselves, and most importantly, dream BIG! 🌟
