Bringing the modern + characteristics of the past together is key to my design philosophy. By layering different textures and materials, I strive to create a unique and sensory experience in every room. The vibrant colors and rich textures of traditional Turkish kilim patterns are just one of the many details that add warmth and character to any space.

I’ve designed these business cards when I first re-started Camara Design couple of years ago. Although it has not been used so much since then, after all printed business cards are losing its popularity, I still love to carry them around ➰ next time we meet ask for my business card, will you? 🤸🏻‍♀️

Hello all! It’s Miray, the face behind Camara Design. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself. ✨

We started Camara Design with my childhood friend and partner in crime while I was living in Istanbul 7 years ago. At that time I was working 7 days a week in an interior design company, trying to complete a hotel project. I knew I wanted to do more graphic work as I was interested in interior signage designs and was trying to find ways to combine interior design with graphic design.

So I quit my job to pursue my dreams and we founded “Cámara”, and worked together for 1 year before I moved to LA. We did mostly children’s apps and stories, and printed materials for companies from brochures to menu designs.

After moving to LA with my husband, I had to pause Camara for a couple of years because we’ve founded and were working really hard to open a coworking space for creative entrepreneurs .club . Created this brand from scratch and my first project where I was able to do both branding, all the graphics, and the interior design of the spaces.

Here I am, back on my first baby, Camara Design, helping soulful entrepreneurs and daydreamers just like us visualize their dreams and build their brands.
