Since 2021, we (Rebecca Akumbu, Rashel Mereness, donors, and more) have had the privilege of engaging with young learners in Babanki Tungo, Cameroon, through our annual Youth Activities and Book Drive. Every summer, this initiative springs to life, offering students a unique blend of team-building exercises and educational opportunities. We are incredibly proud of all the amazing participants who made this event a huge success! A special thanks to our local community leaders for their support and for providing cash prizes. To our surprise, over 1,000 people came out to watch, filling the event with energy and excitement. A total of 14 teams, including two women’s teams, received book distributions, with additional packs given to students at the Computer Centers and local schools. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this unforgettable experience!
