El Paso Scottish Rite

After the devastating arson fire on July 24, 2023, the El Paso Scottish Rite Temple began a long journey of restoration and renewal. Thanks to the dedication, support, and generosity of our community, we have continued bringing new life back into this historic building one step at a time.

Today, we’re excited to share another milestone — the furniture for the Library has finally arrived! The space is coming together beautifully and is once again becoming a warm, welcoming place for fellowship, learning, and reflection.

We’re still searching for the perfect area rug to help warm up the room and complete the space, but little by little, it’s all coming together. Seeing the Temple restored piece by piece is a powerful reminder of resilience, perseverance, and the strength of our community.

In the early morning hours of July 24, 2023, the El Paso Scottish Rite Temple suffered an act of arson that caused significant damage to the lobby, destroying much of the furniture and flooring. Thanks to a quick response, the fire was contained and no one was injured.

Since then, the Temple has undergone a careful restoration with the support and dedication of its community.

Today, we’re proud to share that the replacement lobby furniture has finally arrived, and the space looks absolutely beautiful—a true symbol of resilience and renewal.

The El Paso Scottish Rite Trap Team participated in the El Maida Shrine Annual Clay Buster's Trap Shoot on November 8, 2025. A lot of fun was had by all.
Team included - Pete Loaiza, Edwin Sirrin, Juan Navarro, Luis Guzman and Larry Kane.
