✨🤍I feel so grateful to be an artist for a living.🤍✨.
Our job only gets boring or exhausting if you let it.

On the flip side, if you look for it, our job can be so invigorating and inspiring and rewarding!

I can’t express to you enough how important it is to not only take pictures of your finished work but don’t forget the processing pics too!

You don’t even have to post them if you don’t want, but keep them as progress picture!

Make a file on your phone for each category, finished looks and processing.

Just like a fitness journey, progress pictures can show you things you don’t see day to day.

Over time your painting will change.

You’ll learn new techniques and gain confidence in your stroke.

You can see that more clearly when you take processing pictures regularly and look back at them!

Now keep in mind your painting might and probably should look different on each beautiful client, because as we all know, different painting techniques create different looks.

But it’s fun to see how your overall vibe, style and technical skill changes and grows over time.

Lately I’ve been favoring bolder pieces with a soft blend.

My clients have been loving it for longevity between appointments and the sass factor it gives them to have those bolder “pop” pieces.

Might be time to get to filming again!

What have you seen change in your painting lately?

⭐️It’s ok to hit pause and take some time to reset.
We as artists wear a lot of hats!⭐️

It can be overwhelming and get unorganized very easily.

🙏🏼It’s OK to hit pause and focus on one or two things at a time, get those “hats” organized and under control, in a flow. Then move on to the next!

I took a step back from educating this year to focus on growing myself and my salon while finding a healthy balance with motherhood.

It was such an amazing gift I gave myself, I definitely recommend it to anyone feeling like they just have a LOT going on.

🤍✨My health, mindset, business and family are thriving and now I feel fully grounded and ready to give more than ever.

My favorite thing in the my career is helping other artists grow, whether it’s in mindset, technique, or general mentoring.

I fu***ng love it.

Watching someone grow and have things ✨click✨ and watching them open up is just so beautiful!

I’ve missed it so much but remember, you have to fill you cup to fill others.

🤍And I’m here to help you learn to fill yours!

What’s something you can add TODAY to your DAILY routine to fill your cup?

⭐️Biggest ones for me are daily intentional movement (lifting, yoga, walks) and drinking a gallon of water a day! Yes... it makes me p*e a ton at work... BUT it also makes my body not hurt after a long day of work AND I don’t fatigue.

Share yours 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Seamless painting 😍.

Technique > toning tricks ALL DAY.

When you paint with integrity, achieve smooth seamless pieces and the right amount of lift, you can use a gloss/toner to enhance it instead of using them to cover/fix/hide your painting.

This ensures the grow out will be a beautiful process for your client, rather than a surprise they’ll need to get done again sooner.

I prefer my clients love every step of the process.

My favorite (that I hear almost daily) is when a client sits down and says “honestly it still looks great, it’s just time to bring it back up!”
Who doesn’t want that?

Don’t you want your clients hair to be good advertising for you even 5+ months grown out?

Focus on your balayage technique and you will!

I can help ♥️.

Comment with your balayage questions or online class questions ♥️.

Here for you!
