Tuesday, June 30, 2026
6:00pm–7:00pm

Sketching on location documents your surroundings, changes your relationship to that place, and leaves you with a drawing immortalizing that experience. Eleanor shares her journey working as a sketchbook artist specializing in this analogue art form.
Eleanor Doughty is an illustrator originally from the D.C. area & now based in Seattle in the Pacific Northwest. She has worked as a full-time freelance artist & educator since 2017, finding her niche in location illustration and large-scale works. Eleanor is a guest artist at this year's Sketcher Fest in Edmonds, Washington.
This event will be recorded for later viewing on the Sno-Isle Libraries YouTube channel and will be available for two years.
