Pippin Studio

Osterville needlepoint shop had a great thought to stitch this Pippin stocking cuff as a cushion. I think those seagulls look very glam with the velvet, and it’s weird how Christmas-y the sand and starfish look beside it. And look at those itty bitty Christmas lights!! Nicely done! 🤗

The inspector was here today.

During this odd pause from the life as we normally know it I've been getting back to a bit of writing, which I have fun with. I haven't found time for it the last while and I have missed it. I think of the Pippin blog as my quirky quiet spot to write about needlepoint designs but also other things. Things that are usually gentle and happy and full of colour because that's where I like to hang out. If you ever feel like pulling up a chair in there you will be welcome. :)

Today I wrote about a crush I have developed for colourful cooking pots, and how that made me design a canvas.

ps I’m fighting with instagram so crossing my fingers here. Instagram wouldn’t post my words. I’m now feeling pouty and put out, and also there’s nothing like writing something out about five times to make you think it might be not funny at all. 😬🤔🤗
