We are all praying for Oklahoma residents impacted by the tornadoes—there are reports of substantial damage and injuries overnight.
Oklahoma County Commissioners and Sheriff’s Deputies and Assessor deputies are among the “First-First Responders” after natural disasters.
The Oklahoma County Assessor’s Office will get into the affected areas as soon as possible to assess the damage inside the county.
Search and rescue will be completed before we are allowed access.
The Assessor’s team will assess the damage and have the ability to reduce the value of the property which can substantially reduce or eliminate the property taxes due on residential and commercial properties.
Thanks to all the local media who have provided excellent coverage. The aerial videos will help my staff save time and money in our search for damage from the storms.

Voter Registration
Tomorrow, Friday, October 11th, is the last day to register to vote and change your voter registration information (name, address, or political affiliation) in time for the upcoming November 5th elections.

Polling Location Changes
The Oklahoma County Election Board has announced the change of 7 polling locations. If your precinct is listed, please take note of your new voting location.

Precinct 550349 has been changed to Victory Church (1515 N. Kelly Ave Edmond, OK 73003).

Precinct 550446 has been changed to Christ Fit Gym (2213 NW 178th Street Ste B Edmond, OK 73012).

Precincts 550494, 550496, 550497, and 550538 have been changed to Plumbers and Pipefitters #344 (4335 SW 44th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73119).

Precinct 550338 has been changed to New Hope Church of Christ (700 W. 2nd Street St. Edmond, OK 73003).
