Green Fuels Operating has successfully advanced from concept to design and is now moving into the next phase of development for its modern modular refinery platform.
Designed for efficient-scale deployment and accelerated delivery timelines, GFO facilities are projected to become operational in approximately 14–18 months following the start of construction. Through innovative engineering and scalable infrastructure, GFO is positioning itself to help meet growing domestic energy demands while supporting the expansion of America’s refining capacity.
As development progresses, GFO remains focused on building practical, forward-looking energy infrastructure designed for long-term impact.

Instead of requiring hundreds of acres for a single facility, our modular approach allows for the same throughput on a much smaller footprint — creating a more efficient and scalable path forward for domestic refining capacity.
As the nation continues losing refining capacity year after year, innovation matters more than ever.

Green Fuels Operating was honored to attend the 38th Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt, hosted by Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell in Duncan, Oklahoma. It was a great opportunity to connect with local and state leaders and be part of such a well-run event.
GFO CEO Derek Williamson shared:
“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized by DAEDF at this outstanding event. Having seen organizations across the country, we can say without hesitation no one does it better. Lyle, Nicole, and Henry set the standard for excellence and integrity, and Stephens County and Duncan have every reason to be proud of the team representing them.”
A big thank you to the Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation for organizing such an exceptional event and for their continued commitment to supporting economic growth in the region.

GFO is redefining what modern hydrocarbon processing looks like.
Through advanced, patented technology, we’re able to produce essential fuels like diesel, gasoline, and aviation fuel more efficiently, with significantly lower energy use and a net-zero emissions approach.
This isn’t about replacing the industry. It’s about evolving it.
By combining modular design, heat recycling, and lower operating conditions, GFO is delivering a smarter, more sustainable way forward for refining.

Capacity may change. However, our footprint remains largely the same.
Whether it’s 20,000, 30,000, 50,000, or 100,000 bbl/day, our modular design stays efficient and scalable.

For Oklahoma producers, transportation costs continue to erode margins.
Green Fuels Operating (a subsidiary of Clean Refineries) is addressing that challenge by developing modern, right-sized refining capacity in Oklahoma.
Engineering is currently underway for two facilities, with completion targeted for early Q3.
The strategy is focused on:
Lower structural transportation costs
Stronger regional supply chains
Retained margins and jobs in Oklahoma
Reduced reliance on congested coastal infrastructure
This is about building durable, long-term energy infrastructure that keeps value local.

For decades, Oklahoma producers have dealt with the same issue. Getting crude out of state costs money.
Whether oil moves by pipeline or rail, producers often give up $5 to $10 or more per barrel just to reach Gulf Coast refineries. Over time, that transportation cost adds up and pulls value out of Oklahoma.
At CRI & Green Fuels Operating, we are working to change that.
Our focus is simple. Build refining capacity in Oklahoma so local crude does not have to travel hundreds of miles just to be processed. The goal is to keep more value with producers and keep refining jobs and margins in state.
This is not about choosing between pipeline or rail.
It is about refining closer to the barrel.
