A newly published human study explored low-level laser therapy for women with breast cancer-related lymphedema. Researchers found that LLLT was associated with localized improvements in tissue stiffness.

That possibility matters.

After breast cancer treatment, tissue may feel firm, tight or restricted—but that does not necessarily mean it must remain exactly as it is forever.

The body may still have opportunities to soften, adapt and respond to thoughtful support.

This is where restorative science gets exciting.


Emerging research suggests that certain forms of low-level laser therapy may influence localized tissue properties. Findings are preliminary, wavelength-specific, and not a claim about any particular service or device used at The Lymph Lab.
