I received this in my mail from PPA today! So happy to achieve this, the highest level possible!

I am so proud to announce my results from the annual PPA international photographic competition. My 4 images were accepted in the merit worthy category and all 4 were accepted in the image excellence category. This qualifies me to the highest category of “Diamond photographer of the year.”
Very happy old man!

In partnership with Bob Moore Subaru and OKC Parks, MetroPPA will be hosting a Kid's Photography Camp.

Kid's Photography Camp is a hands-on summer camp that inspires youth and teens with visual art activities put on by the Metro Professional Photography Association (Metro PPA). Instructors will teach your child aspects of the digital camera, light exposure, compensation and shutter speed, rule of thirds as well as action items along with other fun activities that will keep your child engaged. This program can propel students into a variety of photography careers such as landscape, wildlife, sports, portrait, wedding, architectural and fashion. The campers will receive lunch and a camera is highly recommended.

Join us March 27 for an On Location lighting class and a great Photowalk of the oldest historical district in Oklahoma, Guthrie Oklahoma.

Learn from our very own Cary Garrison who has been photographing and sharing his knowledge for many decades. This is not a class you want to miss.

Class will start at 1:30p and if you would like to come early Shelton’s Photography & Design will be available if you would like to look around the studio.

Then we will join Heath Shelton of Shelton’s Photography & Design in business 25yrs on a Photowalk to create images of a very beautiful historic town.

The class will start at 1:30p have dinner at 4p then walk Guthrie at 530p to create some amazing images and test out the techniques you learned from Cary
