π¨Big Newsπ¨ Weβre thrilled to officially welcome Sydney Ashton to the The Movement Lab family!π
Dr. Sydneyβs journey into physical therapy started with movement and performance π©°πͺ
She grew up as a competitive dancer in Duncan, Oklahoma β’ training from the age of 3 and developing a deep appreciation for strength, discipline, and movement. After working through a knee injury in physical therapy, Sydney discovered her passion for helping others return to what they love β stronger and more confident.π―
She went on to earn her B.S. in Health & Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2024 π
Sydney doesnβt just talk movementβ¦ she lives it πββοΈποΈββοΈ From resistance training and pickleball to yoga and staying active, she believes strength is the foundation for performance and injury prevention.π«°
In the clinic, Sydney especially enjoys working with dancers π©°, runners πββοΈ, and fitness-focused athletes πͺ to improve movement, build strength, and perform at a high level.
