Four years ago in May, we bought the LLC and started making REAL plans for this business. Grateful for the work we get to do together, and the homeowners who have trusted us along the way!

MID CENTURY RANCH REMODEL | PRIMARY BATHROOM
Quick recap of all we changed in this primary bathroom 🤩 I often forget just how far a space has come until I go back to review the before photos and videos!
In this bathroom, we more than doubled the size of the shower, added a steam shower feature, installed a new cast iron free standing tub, added windows to capture the view, and reworked the cabinetry to be more functional with improved storage
Little details leading in (like which direction to run the wood flooring in the hallway, and how/when to transition it into the room) are so important to the final result!

LIVED IN LEGACY HOUSE | KITCHEN REMODEL
One of my favorite details in this kitchen (of all of our projects, actually!) is this backsplash tile + pattern!
We used a ceramic tile in a subway pattern, plus a marble pencil trim piece paired with a solider course row of tile along the perimeter of the counter top. We had to troubleshoot the soldier course height; a full height tile would have made the marble trim run through the outlets.
Our installer cut down the tile for the solider course, which allowed the height set for the marble trim to align seamlessly with the top edge of the window ledge! (Photo 3) our installer also made adjustments to ensure full height tiles went up the wall to also align at the top edge of the window opening 😍👌🏻
THE SIX YARDS SHY HOUSE | NEW JACK AND JILL BATH
This bathroom did not exist in this home before the remodel! In this area, there was a powder bathroom that was accessible from the kitchen. We closed in a second living room to create an office/bedroom, and reworked the space between to create a larger, full bathroom that also serves the middle bedroom of the home.
My favorite feature is the bathroom sink faucet with a sprayer! ✨
And what about that in the shower? 😍🌚

THE SIX YARDS SHY HOUSE | PANTRY
This pantry used to be the laundry “room!” We relocated the laundry OUT of the kitchen, and down the hall (where it belongs!) 😄
We then created an extension of the kitchen with the same white oak cabinetry, countertop space with plenty of outlets for small appliances; all while including pretty details that make you want to leave it open all the time!
