Edmond Memorial Swine Week The students approached the principal for support in their endeavor.
Swine Week began in 1986 when a small group of Edmond High School students decided to raise money for Robin Orendorff, the 11-year-old sister of a classmate who was in need of a kidney transplant. He agreed to allow it and even agreed to kiss a pig in front of the entire student body if they could raise $3,000.
