Weatherization Experts, Insulation

“The difference is in the details—and the standards we choose to follow.”

Most new homes today are still insulated to the 2009 energy code, a standard that’s been watered down and amended to make construction cheaper, not better. These outdated practices often sacrifice comfort, air quality, and long-term performance for short-term savings.

At Weatherization Experts, we build to a higher standard. Our team focuses on proper air sealing, material integrity, and meticulous cleanup—because a clean jobsite reflects clean workmanship. The result is a home that’s quieter, healthier, and more energy efficient from day one.

Don’t just meet code—exceed it.

My man gets it!

Builder grade insulation often leaves behind a trail of trash and shoddy workmanship. Netting is strewn about, creating extra cleanup for someone else. This is what subpar work looks like.

Discovered this poor insulation and lack of air sealing that can cause insulation to settle and move. The windows were sealed, but it wasn't enough to prevent the house from leaking air. Have you experienced this issue?

Leaving holes open negates any air sealing efforts on windows. Corners lack filling and insulation. A simple fix involves drilling a small hole, inserting a nozzle, and dense packing the area. A similar process used for walls is skipped, saving time. Have you felt this?

The insulation quality on this home is Oklahoma's standard. But does that mean its good or even effective? Have you seen this before?

This product is made with 85% recycled materials. While not everything is recycled, it remains one of the greenest options available. The cellulose provides effective insulation and thermal mass, offering additional time beyond the R-value resistance.

Cellulose insulation stands out as a safe and cost-effective option. While other exotic products exist, their high cost might not justify the health and safety benefits. Cellulose, made from recycled newspaper and cardboard with added boron, poses no harm to pets or humans. It’s a healthy and budget-friendly solution for insulation. Have you considered this option?

Cellulose insulation is made from recycled newsprint and cardboard, along with fire retardants like borate. Borate acts as a desiccant, deterring mice and insects, and preventing mold growth. Have you considered this eco-friendly option?
