We are small business with a
passion to refurbish old furniture. Susan (Owner/Artist) has been doing this for the last 5 years mainly as a hobby but is now able to feed her passion full time. We love to restore, paint, and repair old pieces to give them new life again. Each piece has a story and by giving it new life we get to continue that story even longer. We believe in working hard and giving you the best service possible!

Today we are closing the doors to SLM Design. π It is not easy to be doing this but needs to happen. I have been doing furniture off and on for the last 8 years and full time for the last 3 years! Unfortunately with all the injuries I have experienced and the burn out it is time for me to switch directions and focus on healing my body.
I want to say thank you to each and everyone of you for your support. Whether it was your comments, likes, shares, or buying a piece. Please know those things never went unnoticed. β€οΈ All of you brought so much joy to my day.
Whatβs next you ask? Iβm not exactly positive but I know that God is guiding me and I am trusting him in this process.

Some pieces come to you covered in dust but it is always amazing what a good clean can do with some paint! π» I used a new to me color βSaturday Whiteβ by MΓ©lange Artisan Mineral Paints and I am in love! β€οΈ Funny enough this is very close to the color of my walls when we moved in but I think it looks way better on furniture! β€οΈ Are you a fan of crΓ¨me color furniture?

Yβall have I ever told you I have the coolest neighbor in the world! Not only is she the sweetest person but she has an amazing talent. She drew all of these adorable monsters based on a photo I saw on Pinterest! Iβm still so in love!! Thank you so much my beautiful friend!
