This sacred weapon was given to Lord Muruga by Goddess Parvati, embodying her divine energy and power. Worship of the Vel is considered highly sacred and is believed to bestow clarity, courage, and protection by dispelling fear, ignorance, and negative influences.

She is the very embodiment of supreme consciousness, wisdom, and beauty, and is revered by many names, including Rajarajeshwari, Shodashi, Kamakshi, and Sri Vidya, each revealing an aspect of Her boundless grace.
For a very long time, I have been yearning to do a Tanjore painting of Lalitha and adorn her to my fullest satisfaction and finally got it accomplished. Happy Pongal to All!
