Hey, back at it with the Tech Decks (Finger Skateboards).

Is there a preference for fully complete decks or incomplete decks? The incomplete ones mean I can sign them, but the complete ones mean I can't. Maybe an initial? Not sure.

So what do you want?

Complete Decks or Incomplete Decks?

Here's the schedule (I HOPE!) for the fall. All events in Philly unless otherwise stated.

Sept 26 - Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts
Sept 27 - Philly Punk Rock Flea Market
Oct 3 - Mt. Airy Arts Festival
Oct 10 - 11 - Philadelphia Open Studios Tour
Oct 18 - Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market (Bensalem, PA)
Oct 24 - Oppaicon (Oxon Hill, MD)
Nov 20 - 22 - Monster-Mania (Oaks, PA)

Made my first set of finger skateboard decks (tech decks), and it was absolutely a learning opportunity. I never had these as a teen, so learning how to build them was something else.

These would go for $10 or $15, still trying to decide. Open to ideas.

This is all working towards my dream of making skateboard decks for real!

MAKE SURE TO COMMENT ON THIS!!

Hey everyone! I wanted to make skateboards for years, and I think it's time I gave it a real shot!

Here are some initial skateboard designs. Decks would be $50, but I'm also going to do a run of small Finger Skateboards, too.

I JUST GOT THIS COOP POSTER IN NYC!

I was in NYC this weekend when I came across a listing for a Art of Coop Silk Screened poster. I'm incredibly thrilled to have it, and I immediately hung it up in my art studio.

Coop, thanks for being such an inspiration and thanks to the really cool couple that sold it to be. I'm incredibly thankful!

These images, put together, caused an epiphany when I was in NYC a few days ago at a book store.

Symbolism in art isn't the starting point, it's the result. The old masters dis start with s vision, but that eventually became symbolic.

Pop culture, in turn, does the same thing.
