Do you wear glasses? If you're anything like me, your prescription has changed over the years or have updated frames and hate throwing old glasses away! Most people aren't aware but the Edinburgh Lions Club has a collection box for old and broken glasses and sunglasses at the John R. Drybread Community Center!
Lions Recycle for Sight is an amazing program brought about in response to a challenge made by Helen Keller to Lions Club International to help get glasses to those in need!
If you would like to recycle some glasses but can't get to the Community Center, please feel free to reach out to me or any of your local Lions and we'd be happy to pick them up.

🦁 Edinburgh Lions Club proudly hosts the Fall Festival Little Prince & Princess! The Lions Club supports Edinburgh sports, scouts, food pantry, Dollars for Scholars, Cheer Fund, assistance with eyeglasses, etc. Every penny raised goes back into the community.
🫅👸Children ages 3, 4, 5 (cannot turn 6 prior to Sept. 13) can register at the John R. Drybread Community Center starting Aug. 11. Fundraising begins later in August after pictures for the newspaper have been taken.
