St. John Bosco Schools

Our day at Arrowhead yesterday with the 6th graders was a special one. Particularly when completing the teamwork challenges, I was met with compliments about maturity and intellect. "These are 7th and 8th graders right?" "You have a fun group here, these kids are amazing! " And "Thats the fastest I've ever seen a group complete that puzzle (about 15 seconds). We have adult groups that can't complete it at all!

For your enjoyment, try the game with the arrowheads in one of the pictures below. You get 3 moves to totally invert the picture so the pyramid formed by all the sheets of paper now points down instead of up. You can disregard the markings on the paper. They are irrelevant to this game. Let us know in the comments how long it took you to complete it. Are YOU smarter than a Bosco 6th grader??

🏕️ Learning, adventure, and plenty of fun! Our 6th grade scholars had an unforgettable day at Camp Arrowhead—building teamwork, trying new challenges, and making memories together! 🌲✨

While we did Archery and gaga ball in the morning, we are focusing on communication and team work this afternoon! Teammates need to find effective ways to communicate with a blindfolded partner to find a particular item... and then throw it at the other teams blindfolded teammate! A lot of laughs with this one!

Follow along as the 6th graders work together through various challenges at camp arrowhead today!

A day of learning, wonder, and wisdom! 📚✨ Our 3rd grade scholars visited The Abbey of the Genesee, where they explored the life of the monks and had the opportunity to hear from Brother James about his vocation and life in the monastery. What a beautiful way to learn beyond the classroom! 🙏📖

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above." — James 1:17

"Bless the Lord, all you His angels, mighty in power, executing His word." — Psalm 103:20 🌟On this Feast of the Archangels, our classrooms are filled with the reminders of heaven's guidance. May we communicate with the clarity of Gabriel, seek healing like Raphael, and stand firm in truth like Michael.Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, pray for us! 🤍

Meet the engine room of our school! ☕✨

Behind every smooth school day, every answered phone call, every bandaged knee, and every lost-and-found miracle is our incredible front office team.

They work hard, pray hard, and—as you can see—never take themselves too seriously. Next time you drop by the front office, be sure to give a wave to the team that keeps our school running with grace, efficiency, and a lot of laughter! 💙
