🎣 What a day on the water!
Our 13th Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo brought out an amazing crowd of young anglers — and they showed up ready to fish, laugh, learn, and make memories.

From first‑ever catches to those big trophy moments for Most Fish and Biggest Fish, plus one very excited raffle winner of an amazing BassQuest Fishing Charters trip), the morning was packed with sunshine, smiles, and pure East Ridge community spirit. 🌞💙

A huge THANK YOU to every family who joined us, our hardworking Club members, volunteers from the East Ridge City Library, City of East Ridge Fire Rescue, and Camp Jordan-East Ridge Parks and Recreation Department, and the sponsors who help make this tradition possible (we're looking at you City of East Ridge - Government, James L. C. Meyers, Realtor, Jack's Bait & Tackle Shop, and Patriot Insurance Solutions, Inc.). Events like this are why we do what we do — building confidence, creating joy, and encouraging optimism in the next generation.

This Memorial Day, the East Ridge Optimist Club joined TN American Legion Post 95 and the City of East Ridge - Government in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The annual Help Mama Feed her Family Food Drive was a huge success this year. East Ridge Optimist Club partnered with the East Ridge Police Department to collect $526 and 813 pounds of food from the East Ridge Community. . A big thank you to Southern Honda Powersports for hosting the Food Drive at their East Ridge location.

At this week’s East Ridge Optimist Club meeting, we were proud to recognize Gieselle Fuentes as this year’s East Ridge High School Scholarship Recipient. Congratulations, Gieselle — your hard work and dedication shine.

We also extend a heartfelt thank‑you to club member Rana Clark for joining us as guest speaker and sharing her advocacy for Disabled Veterans. Her commitment to service is inspiring.
