Firebird Raceway offers events from late-March through mid-October, including the Nightfire Nationals every August.
Firebird Raceway is a family run facility sanctioned by the National Hot Rod Association. For better than five decades, Idaho's largest motorsport's facility has offered events starting in late-March and continuing through the end of October. Racers compete at Firebird from all over the nation at a wide-variety of races. The track's most popular events include the Ignitor, the Nightfire and Halloween Classic in October.

Lots of vendors finished setting up today for Saturday's Swap Meet. Gates open at 9 am for buyers (Vendor and racer gates open at 7:30 am). Can't wait!

Drive your cool car or truck out to the Fall Automotive Swap Meet this Saturday, Sept. 26!
We've set aside special pit parking on the blacktop for all the cool rides coming out to Firebird, so what better reason to join us for a full day of swappin', drag racin' and catching up with friends. All you need to buy is your ticket for the event.
The Swap Meet gets underway at 9 am, with plenty to see and do throughout the day.
Bring out your hot rod, custom, muscle car, classic, truck—or whatever you're proud to drive—and come join the fun.

We're excited to play host to a number of racing classes this Saturday in conjunction with our 22nd Fall Automotive Swap Meet. Racers are invited to compete in: Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Sled/Bike, Nostalgia, Outlaw Street, Factory Muscle, Street Truck and Street Bike.
Plus...one of our favorite categories every Fall is the 100 MPH King Kong Runoffs. It's a handicapped bracket class competing for the biggest triple-pillar trophy of the season! Reigning champ is Ashley Reedy, pictured.
Currently there are 363 qualified racers (which includes Domestics, Tuners, Street Bikes and EV) listed on our website.
And by chance, if you haven't qualified, you can earn a spot during time trials at the event this Saturday.

Thanks to everyone who came out in support of our Silver Anniversary Fall Best of Detroit event. Sharing a few more images from the jam-packed day of racing and showing. Looking forward to the next stop: Fall Automotive Swap Meet & Drag Races this Saturday, Sept. 26th.
Travis Ga***rd swept the Idaho Small Tire Series finale at Firebird.
In dominating fashion, Ga***rd clicked off runs of 4.68, 4.61, 4.58, 4.58, 4.58 and capped it all off with a 4.60 at 159.89 mph to defeat Adam Anderson in the heads-up final.
Anderson, who secured the 2026 Idaho Small Tire three-race championship, finished runner-up at 5.78-158.52.
Congratulations to Ga***rd and his impressive ’67 Ford Fairlane on a standout performance at the 25th Anniversary Fall Best of Detroit.
And congratulations to Anderson on earning the Snake River Speed Shop track year-end title!
