On this day in 2019 I was fortunate to coordinate a wedding for some dear friends. They asked for simple elegance and that’s exactly what they got!

Hello there! It has been a while and I figured a bit of a re-introduction might be helpful for all my new folks. I am Amos: the Chief Fixer, Mastermind, “that guy” at Bull City Butler. I have picked up a few nicknames as part of my work, but my favorite is “cheerleader for high functioning individuals.”

In short, I help people unscramble their lives by giving them time and freedom to focus on other activities while I tackle life’s challenges. What does that mean? I know, I get that a lot. Imagine if you could call someone to do literally anything that you do not have time to do. That would be me! My days could involve accepting a delivery, meeting with an interior designer, plumber or other service provider, vehicle service appointments, and I can even fully set up your new home or condo. I can even plan any personal or corporate event! I make life easier for my clients by providing exemplary service and easy, low-effort solutions to life’s inconvenient hiccups and tasks.

We stand in solidarity against racism, ignorance, and injustice.

We stand with our fellow Black artists, creators, makers, storytellers, chefs, entrepreneurs, and the entire Black community.

We see the pain, the unrest, and are heartbroken that this is still an issue, after hundreds of years. We are here to learn, by listening, and educating ourselves so that we can be better allies, because Black Lives Matter!

A few months ago, we wrote a blog post for Black History Month showcasing 29 local, Black-owned businesses here in Durham, NC. Since then, our community has voiced their support for even more, and it's time that we update that original list and expand well beyond 29, because we can do better. This blog post will be continuously updated as we research and discover Black-owned businesses, artists, and makers that make up Durham. Thank you for introducing us to some new faces and helping us showcase and support even more Black greatness in our community.

These flowers are a great reminder that life takes us through seasons. Yes this present season is difficult for many and impossible for others, but my hope is that in due time we will all grow, blossom, and prosper after this.

To ALL my fellow entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, hustlepreneurs, and gig workers, hang in there. This is temporary.

The last 2 days have been filled with car inspections, service appointments and auto details. When you don’t have time for that, we do!
