Somehow, renovating our own house is so much messier than doing it for a customer! 🤣 But, I'm in so in love with the transformation! New countertops, flooring, wall and cabinet paint, sink, lighting, a little wallpaper fun and even built a new homeschool space for the girls. ❤️ I definitely got a little carried away with the "kitchen reno" that spilled into every room.

This beautiful antique heirloom bed turned bench was such a labor of love. It's a precious way to keep your memories of a loved one with you in a fully functional way. And I'm always pumped to use a super cool color. That soft glaze was the icing on the cake, for this one! I gotta admit, that old country song about Sittin' with Mama kept playing in my head as I worked on this project. 😭

Had the opportunity to paint and customize some wedding decor recently that the bride's sweet Daddy built for her ceremony. ❤️

I had the opportunity to try my hand at some floral arrangements and designs not too long ago and I gotta say, I thoroughly enjoyed every second! We also built and styled an arbor for a second wedding! One of the beautiful couples even let me be their wedding coordinator! ❤️❤️❤️
I wanted to take a few minutes to check in and share a little update. We've been pretty quiet around the shop for what feels like FOREVER.. But for good reason...
Several years ago, we built The Granny Pod, for my Mom, which many of you have had the chance to see in person. It was a beautiful labor of love that afforded my family the opportunity to be together as health concerns for Mama began to take up much of our time. This past year I became Mom's full time caregiver and while it was time consuming, hard work, sometimes even overwhelming... It was a blessed, joyful, bittersweet journey that ended for my precious Mama, on Dec. 11, 2023.
However, I'm forever grateful that we had this sweet little business that I knew I wouldn't get fired from for choosing to care for my loved one instead of punching a clock. And God has provided every step of the way, like HE always has.
That being said, we are slowly remembering what it feels like to build, craft, create and find joy in making something out of nothing, all over again. If I've been slow to respond or missed your message altogether in the last several months, please know that it wasn't personal, I was just busy with a different kind of labor of love at the time. We're now looking forward to seeing what 2024 holds and we thank you for your support, prayers, calls, texts and compassion through this time.

Custom from scratch builds are so fun!! I love the entire process... From a cool idea in my head to material lists and specs on paper, then from digital design to fully assembled, and finally.. prepped, painted and sealed to installed with hardware!! ❤️❤️❤️

We had the pleasure of re-vamping this front porch with beautiful rough hewn lumber and hand painted steel railings. American Walnut stain with the black enamel railings makes such a beautiful statement. ❤️
