The NC Navigator Consortium is a project of Legal Aid that helps people figure out what health insurance options people maybe eligible for in North Carolina. Legal Aid is a nonprofit and does not work for any insurance company. On Tuesdays starting November 19th, a navigator will be on-site, and in-person at Southwest Regional Library from 1:00pm - 5:00pm to assist with Health Insurance Marketplace (ACA) applications for Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment for the Marketplace is a time where people can do a 2025 application to get coverage for 2025. It will start November 1st and end January 15th. Navigators can also assist with Medicaid applications and with any questions about Medicaid or the Health Insurance Marketplace. Navigators can also help people connect to other community resources as well like connecting to legal assistance at Legal Aid.

If you are interested in meeting with the navigator in-person on the on-site dates, you can call 919-226-5914 to schedule that in-person appointment.

Maximum appointments per afternoon session will be 4. A Spanish speaking navigator will also be on-site. Navigators can also provide interpreters for any other preferred language as well.
If you are interested in speaking with a navigator over the phone or on zoom, you can schedule an appointment online at ncnavigator.org, or call 1-855-733-3711.
