🎉 New Dates for Open Studio Days and Sip & Stitch!

🧵 While we are primarily an online store, our monthly Open Studio Days are a chance for the public to pop into our studio to browse and shop in person (no appointment necessary). We are open from 10am-4pm on Open Studio Days (full calendar of dates for Summer 2026 coming soon...)

🧵 Sip & Stitch is our monthly community stitching gathering that takes place at the Durham Hotel in downtown Durham. Everyone is welcome!

It's Open Studio Day🎉 We are so excited to have with us today (you can find them set up in the front parking lot across the street from Guglhupf). Stop by and shop in person until 4pm today. Since last month, we have lots of new threads (including a whole new cabinet!), fabric, EPP patterns and more. Hope to see you!

Started working on a daily stitching meditation scroll and loving it. After almost a year of almost exclusively working on deadline driven/ work related stitching and sewing, it feels amazing to work on something just for me. No rules, no plan, just trying to find my way back to my pool of creativity.

🌟Big thank you to Sam E. for leaving a photo with her review of the Braided Cotton Painters thread of how she used her Pokeori loom with these gorgeous threads - brilliant idea and I loved making a little weaving just like hers for my scroll.

Product testing is so much fun. Something new coming soon...

Please note, due to scheduling conflicts at the Durham Hotel, there will be no Sip & Stitch in April.

Better late than never, right? Most of my QuiltCon Toyo toolbox order just arrived 🎉 A little late for QuiltCon, but it sure is nice to see this lovely rainbow on the shelves again. We haven't seen a few of these T-190 colors in many, many months.

QuiltCon Day #1 is in the books! Thank you so much to everyone that stopped by the booth today. My favorite part of QuiltCon will always be the people ❤️ My heart is full from all the delightful chats, hugs and laughs throughout the day. Can't wait for more of the same tomorrow!

My second favorite part is the fashion, bags & accessories that you see everywhere you look. It is like being surrounded by a walking quilt / art show all day long. So much talent on display, it is so inspiring.
