Healthy aging starts with staying informed about the health changes that can come with age.
For people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, FDA-approved medications may help slow the progression of memory and thinking changes. While these treatments are not a cure, they may help some people maintain their independence longer.
During Healthy Aging Month, it's a good reminder to talk with a health care provider if you or a loved one have noticed changes in memory, thinking, or daily functioning. Early evaluation can help identify available treatment options and support services.
Learn more about Alzheimer's medications and who may be eligible:

Flu season is almost here, and now is the time to prepare.
A flu shot does more than help protect you. It can reduce your risk of serious illness and help protect the people around you, including young children, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. The flu vaccine takes up to two weeks to provide protection, which is why experts recommend getting vaccinated early in the season.
