"Divine Surrender" (thanks for the title, !) 20x20" i've had fun painting these prayer girls. 🙏😇❤️

"Libby's Jellies" 30x30 Libby asked me to paint jellyfish last fall after we saw some artwork on Pearl Street in Boulder. It took me months and layer after layer after layer. There's written messages hidden deep in the sea, Bach (from the cello suites she played), hand painted rice paper in pinks and corals mixed just for her, and flowers floating down as tentacles bc Libby loves flowers. Jellyfish can symbolize love, balance, acceptance, faith, intuition, and sensitivity which is perfect to describe Libby.

This is my last week teaching and my students and friends brought me flowers and handmade notes and pictures and wine and chocolate. I felt so loved. Thank you so much everyone!
