Springhill Suites Durango

A housekeeper is responsible for the daily cleaning of public rooms (lobbies, corridors, meeting rooms), private guest rooms and public bathrooms, and the laundering of linens.

Previous work experience preferred but not required.

Providing outstanding customer service

Set up and take down of breakfast items

Preparing and replenishing breakfast items

Maintain a clean breakfast and lobby area

Creating a team environment

Cleaning Kitchen and lobby after breakfast hours

Breakfast Attendant must be flexible to work on holidays & weekends based on the needs of the hotel.

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the hotel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in electrical/mechanical
systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing) and other hotel equipment.

Conducting ongoing room preventative maintenance program

Reviewing maintenance problems, complaints and work orders to prioritize
and schedule work.

Inspecting property to identify potential and current needs.

Performing preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.

Servicing the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning
filters.

Completing maintenance logs.

Maintaining the building exterior.

Any other duties assigned by manager.

Welcomes and registers guests in a polite and efficient demeanor rooms to meet guests needs as permissible

Obtains required credit and payment information from guests

Coordinates with team members to exceed guest expectations

Provides detailed information about the hotel and surrounding establishments

Coordinates with housekeeping for special requests, late checkouts, and room changes

Receives and relays guest messages

Answers telephone calls and guest questions in a warm, responsive manner

Maintains cleanliness of equipment in work areas

Night Audit reports

Other duties as assigned
