How loud should your locomotive really be?

With SoundTraxx Digital Sound Decoders, you can adjust individual sound effects, balance the sounds with volume mixers, and create alternate volume settings for different operating environments.

Turn down the volume and try scale sound to create a more realistic experience where locomotives sound like they're approaching and departing your position—not overpowering the entire train room.

“My favorite feature, the ease of use, especially being able to change on the fly with Blunami if I want to. It doesn't get any better, you guys make the best. Now there is one thing that could make it better.” -Clark C.

“I just took out all the [factory] boards out of the almost new SD50 I bought a year ago from Hobby Town in Alamosa. Once you run Blunami, [other systems] seem so primitive. Seemed to me pretty good for an engine I liked the looks of but hated the whole program after tasting Blunami. I really hesitated for months on doing it. I thought oh well we will see what kind of mess I can make out this engine. It was a piece of cake 🎂, 15 minutes and [factory board] was in my parts been and another 15 minutes the chassis was on the track performing flawless. I run power cars all I had to do was plug and run. Totally awesome. The lights took the longest. At first I thought I would lionels lights. They were a pain and I tore them all out and put my own in. I love the sound of the engine going up and down my trestle. I have three more engines that I will do. But lionel's drive train is really nice and I like their shells. Probably some people will think I am crazy but until you run Blunami you will never know. But once you try it your blood will turn purple lol.” -Charlie C
