Steep angle terrain produces a variety of challenges for a basket attendant. Being comfortable changing positions is important. In this clip, you can see the attendant make the change at the top of the cliff, but the identical position could have been utilized throughout.

Do our personal skills drills. This is one of the more physically demanding skills that we do, and it requires a lot of moving pieces.

First and most recent International courses. It's a journey that I'm still loving, and hope to continue on. This year, we will be back in Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Costa Rica.

By far, the most entertaining part of traveling internationally is explaining "Marrow Streep" (aka Dr. Bones) and the mulage bottles of blood to Customs agents. But, the teaching they yield is invaluable, so explaining bottles of blood will continue.

While finishing up a series of Swiftwater and Wilderness Medicing Courses, happened to experience the earthquake in Bangkok. While our circle of friends and family is safe, the collapse of the building near Chatuchak Market leaves over 80 workers missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those missing and killed, and with the Rescuers who are still digging through the rubble. In particular, I'd like to recognize the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, who we have trained with in our Rope Rescue Specialist course in Chiang Mai in 2023.

While Bangkok went relatively unscathed, we know the recovery efforts in Myanmar will be ongoing for a long time. Our thoughts are with them as well.

I'd also like to express gratitude to Progression Training up in Chiang Mai for providing the opportunity, and to MedProExtreme for co-instructing that course.
