Before and after of a boiler re-pipe that unfortunately is all too common in this area. Cast iron ( high mass ) boiler piped from the boiler directly into and back out of a radiant ( floor heat ) heating system.
NOT GOOD
Piping this way will destroy the boiler & the venting, possibly causing the degradation of the exhaust vent, leaking Carbon Monoxide into the structure.
It’s also extremely hard on the tubing in the floor.
It’s really inefficient and uncomfortable to boot!
