Walkability starts with giving people space.
Our MODSTREET Pedlet transforms underutilized curb space into safer, more comfortable areas for pedestrians — creating room to pause, gather, and move through downtowns with ease.
Featured here in Durango, Colorado, the Pedlet helps expand the sidewalk experience while supporting local businesses and making the street more welcoming for everyone.
Small footprint. No Construction. Big impact.
Because better streets are built for people first.

Project Feature: Lagerhaus – Downtown Denver
When Bierstadt set out to create a massive outdoor hangout space in the heart of Denver, the goal wasn’t just more seating. It was more energy. More connection. More community.
Together, we built a fully activated outdoor dining and gathering space featuring:
• A large partially covered structure for year-round use
• Integrated, built-in planters to soften the space and define flow
• Modular layout flexibility for events, peak traffic, and everyday use
• Durable, American-made steel built to handle Colorado weather
The result? A bold, high-impact outdoor environment that extends their brand experience beyond the walls — and gives guests a place to linger.
This is what modular placemaking looks like.
Stronger streets. Activated sidewalks. Spaces people actually want to be in.
Downtown Denver, we’ll see you outside.
Our vision at MODSTREET is simple:
Stronger communities. Smarter streets. Infrastructure that evolves with the people it serves.
We believe sidewalks should invite connection, transit stops should feel safe and welcoming, and outdoor spaces should be flexible enough to grow with a city’s needs.
Through modular, 100% American-made solutions for outdoor dining, walkability, and transit, we’re helping communities activate space quickly — without sacrificing durability or design.
This isn’t just about infrastructure.
It’s about creating places people actually want to be.

🌍⚽ MODSTREET on the world stage
We’re proud to share that MODSTREET is building modular transit accessibility platforms for the FIFA World Cup—helping cities move massive crowds safely, efficiently, and accessibly.
This project brings our American-made, modular transit platforms to one of the largest global events on the planet. Designed for fast deployment and reuse, these platforms improve ADA access, streamline boarding, and keep people moving between transit hubs and stadium venues.
What makes this especially exciting? It reflects the work we’re doing across 23 states, partnering with cities and transit agencies nationwide to deliver:
• ADA-forward transit accessibility platforms
• Modular bus shelters and boarding areas
• Flexible streetscape and pedestrian solutions
• Infrastructure that scales for both everyday use and major events
From local communities to global moments, our mission stays the same: build public infrastructure that works for everyone.
