🍅Weigh-ins for the IFA Biggest Tomato Contest are officially OPEN!🍅
Bring your monstrous, magnificent tomatoes to your local IFA Country Store between August 1st and September 30th to get weighed and photographed.
🏆 What’s on the line?
- Grand Champion: $500 IFA Gift Card
- 2nd & 3rd Place: $100 & $50 Gift Cards
- Top 10 Finalists: $25 Gift Cards
- Youth Division (Ages 17 & under): Prizes for young growers!
Leaderboard updates will roll out every Wednesday, so drop off your prime produce, show off your hard work, and keep an eye on the standings to see if you take the crown!

IFA had a spectacular week at the Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo!
We’re still buzzing from the excitement of the IFA Youth Rope-off Round of Champions that wrapped up last week Wednesday. It was a true celebration of up-and-coming talent as we recognized our three qualifying competitors who showcased their skills in the arena.

🚜Summer Farm Fact: Corn doesn't care about the calendar, it cares about the heat.
Farmers use a formula called Growing Degree Days (GDD) to track how much warmth a corn plant has absorbed. If the days are warm, the GDD tracker speeds up. If there’s a cold snap, the corn hits the pause button.
Next time you see a tall field of corn, you’re looking at a crop that literally grew by the degrees!
