🎃 RAIN OR SHINE, THE PAW-TY IS ON! 🐾

Mother Nature may be planning to crash HOWL-O-WEEN Fest today, but Maker’s Craft Brewery has plenty of indoor space, so we can keep the fun going without getting our paws wet!

Grab your costumes, bring your pups, and come hang out with us from 3–6 PM!

A little rain never stopped a good paw-ty! 🧡🐶

What does your dog get to do that you swore you would never allow?

🐝 Dusty says, “Bee there or bee square!” 🎃🐾$

Make sure to join Dusty and the rest of the Compact Canine Rescue crew this Saturday at Maker’s Craft Brewery in Norfolk from 3–6 PM for our 5th Annual HOWL-O-WEEN Fest!

The forecast is calling for a little rain on and off, but we're not worried. They say it might rain cats and dogs... but we're hoping for mostly dogs. Sorry, cats. This one's for the pups! 😂🐶

*corrected photo* Sally continues to wait for her forever family. She deserves a home with lots of snuggles! Contact her foster family if you are interested in making her dreams come true!

Doggie Doors: Convenience or Risk?

Doggie doors can be great. But for small dogs, they can also create unexpected safety concerns.

Wildlife. Larger animals. Extreme weather. Security risks.

Before installing one, consider your dog’s size and environment.

Meet Simba, our star this week 🐾
At just 10lbs and 8years young, this adorable Shih Tzu mix is the ultimate pint-sized companion! He may be new to our rescue, but he’s already stealing everyone’s hearts and proving to be the absolute best boy.

Here’s why Simba is an instant keeper:

🐾Leash Legend: Walks like a total dream on leash.
🐾House Trained: Does all his business outside!
🐾 Crate Champ: Sleeps soundly in his crate all night long.
🐾 Sweet & Easygoing: So far, he’s been nothing short of awesome.

We’re still getting to know all of Simba's fun quirks, but we already know whoever adopts him is winning the doggy lottery.

Don't wait—get your application in now! https://compactcaninerescue.org/dog/simba-2/

Why did the dog dress up as a ghost for Howl-O-Ween?

Because he wanted to be a BOO-dle! 👻🐩

Bring your little monsters to Compact Canine Rescue’s Howl-O-Ween Fest on October 3! Costumes encouraged. Bad dog jokes guaranteed. 🎃🐾

What Does Rescue Cost?

Honestly? More than most people realize.

But every dollar spent helps a dog move one step closer to a forever home.

Consider adopting or fostering today!
