Striving to improve the quality of life of American veterans through resources, aid, and outreach

08/25/2025

We are incredibly excited to update you all on our ongoing project! As many of you know, we have been trying to help a local veteran obtain a van that can carry the electric wheelchair he uses. Thanks to the dedication of everyone who’s supported us, we’ve finally made this a reality and handed Paul a little bit of freedom back. A huge thank you to Black Dog Gunworks LLC for their support and participation, Vachon's Auto Detailing for hearing our needs and cutting the price exponentially to make sure Paul got the van he deserves, Showtime Auto Detailing for making the van look brand new inside and out, and all of our donors and participants in our fundraising and event!

Huge thank you to everyone who came out today, we were more successful than we could’ve hoped for. Huge thank you to High and Dry, Hempcats and Pub Pirates for keeping the music rolling, huge thank you to Rochester American Legion Post 7 for hosting us and your awesome bartender who kept everyone quenched, special thanks to Jeremy DuBois at Black Dog Gunworks, and Tina at Rapid Recovery for their effort and donations, Dale and Brian for the amazing food, and everyone else who showed up to support our cause. Today went better than most first runs do, and we owe it all to you.

The Rochester American Legion has graciously offered to open up the tank on Sunday during Family Fun Day for everyone to check out! In addition, we will have a veteran who spent his time in these exact tanks during his deployment happy to answer questions!

On Sunday, we will be coming together to help a veteran in our community. Corporal Paul Pratt served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, as well as other places around the world. Unfortunately, due to heavy metal build up in his nerves caused by exposure during service, Paul is losing the use of his legs. Our current focus is getting Paul a van capable of being outfitted with an electric wheelchair lift provided by the VA. We invite all to come by and support Paul and our mission to help him regain his freedom.

We are very excited to announce that we have obtained 501(c)3 status, and are now a recognized non-profit!

This has been a long time coming, but with patience and diligence we have finally achieved the first step of this mission.

Our next project will be to start raising funds to help veterans and their families in our community through guidance, community outreach, and emergency aid.

Thank you to all who have served, all who continue to serve, and those helping us serve the men and women who've protected our freedom. We can't wait to make a difference.
