DID YOU KNOW?! Acupuncture can help pets with hip dysplasia?!

Hip dysplasia is a multifactorial developmental condition that can contribute to progressive osteoarthritis within the hip joints. This case report describes the use of acupuncture as one component of a conservative, multimodal treatment approach for a three-year-old Pug cross with bilateral hip dysplasia. When included alongside other therapies, acupuncture appeared to help decrease discomfort and stiffness, supporting improved hip mobility, range of motion, and overall function.
