Thank you to all who celebrated my birthday yesterday. There are still 5 more performances of Godspell. The last performance for the Strand is June 28 with Strafford wind Symphony. Get your tickets now. Under 12 is free. I will be retiring. Right now there are no plans for the Strand.

To answer the questions, what will happen to the Strand after the June 28th concert with Strafford Wind Symphony?
The Strand may close unless someone would like to buy the business, not the building. It is a turn key operation with all equipment, website, social media ect.. For more details send me an email. If there is no interest I start cleaning it out June 29.

We are sad to officially announce the retirement of Mr. Strand. For the last 11 years, Dan Demers has brought the stage to life by bringing live entertainment to this historical venue.

From greeting you at the door with his famous popcorn, to running every aspect of event management, he welcomed family and friends to create memories at events all year round.

He’s put all of his time and effort into revitalizing the space as he restored the interior himself, building a dance floor, climbing to the top of the building to put up lights, and doing the wood work to include a section for catering and drinks.

He’s made an unforgettable impact on the community of Dover and gave young and local talent the incredible opportunity to participate in the arts. We are looking forward to seeing where his next adventure takes him.
