Dover recently received national recognition in an article by Islands magazine , which highlighted the city’s walkable downtown, independent shops, dining scene, outdoor recreation opportunities, and ongoing waterfront investment. The article showcases many of the qualities that residents, businesses, and visitors appreciate about Dover every day: a vibrant downtown, a strong sense of community, and easy access to the Seacoast’s natural and cultural amenities.

We’re proud to see Dover recognized as a destination that continues to attract new residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors alike.

The City of Dover’s Community Calendar is a free promotional tool featured on the City website, Discover Dover NH, and Made in Dover. If you’re planning a workshop, fundraiser, pop-up, class, or special event, we encourage you to submit it for added visibility.

Overnight water service impacts are expected Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. as part of the Central Avenue Urban Core Water Improvements Project.

Businesses in affected areas are encouraged to plan ahead and store water in advance for any essential overnight operations. The impacted areas will remain the same each night.
