Dover Public Library

And can we be friends?

It's World Postcard Day!

Drop by the library to pick up a free postcard and be part of this global celebration of old fashioned mail. Send one to your friend, your mom, your elected representatives, your arch nemesis.

Don't have anyone to mail to? You can join PostCrossing, an international community of post card fans. If you send a card today on World Post Card Day you can even get a special badge for your profile. PostCrossing is free and open to everyone, but not affiliated with the library. It's just good fun for everyone!

The postcards are free while supplies last, but you will need to provide your own postage.

And there are 20 books in the series?!

Patty recommends "One & Only" by Maurene Goo.

About this book: Cassia Park knows what her happily ever after looks like. It's her family business, after all - for centuries Park women have peered into clients' past lives to find their one true love, their fated. This magical secret is why One & Only Matchmaking has a 100% guarantee. For ten years, Cass has been searching for her fated, a man named Daniel Nam. But he's nowhere to be found. So the eve of her 40th birthday, Cass decides to do something for herself. She impulsively has a fling with 28-year-old Ellis. She's surprised by their connection and their fling feels like something more-up to the moment he introduces her to his boss...Daniel Nam. As she battles between fate and chance, head and heart, a family secret is revealed that will make her question everything she's ever known.

I run one of our book clubs and I am "forgets the plot", "prepares a detailed guide", AND "listened at 2x speed".

Which book club member are you? Or if you're not listed here, what's your book club personality? And remember, no matter what your type is, you're welcome at our book clubs! We have 6 book clubs to choose from - https://www.dover.nh.gov/government/city-operations/library/events/book-clubs/

The Library will be closed this Saturday for Apple Harvest Day (be sure to come see us at our book downtown!), but we have lots of fun programs happening throughout the rest of the week! 🍎 For a complete list of everything going on at the Library, please visit library.dover.nh.gov/events.
