The Garden on Windy Hill blew me away with this arrangement. Let me introduce you to Earl Grey roses — yes, that’s a purple/grey hue in the center of those gorgeous petals! 💜🩶
The colors are absolutely perfect and complement the cover of my novel beautifully. And the lilies! Lily didn’t know the significance lilies holds within the pages of Breathing Freely, but if you know, you know. 😉

Needless to say, this flower shop does more than make arrangements. They elevate every occasion and do so with what seems to be a natural ease. ♥️

I can’t wait to chat with you all about Lou’s journey, the inspiration behind the story, and what bringing this work into the world meant to me.

Tomorrow’s signatures will look a little different. ✍🏻🩹

I had a freak accident today and cut my hand/fingers in multiple places, and nearly went to the ER for stitches. But luckily, my husband has seen his fair share of cuts and scrapes and bandaged me up like a pro.

Be patient with me tomorrow as I fumble, probably literally, through the signing. At least they’ll be unique! 😅

We’re four days away from the kick-off to Breathing Freely’s mini book tour!

The excitement and anticipation is at an all-time high for me. I can’t wait to see familiar faces and catch up with old friends in my hometown.

Emma Knox Kenan Library’s crew has already exceeded all hopes and any expectations in their graciousness as hosts. Collaborating with the lovely ladies there has been easy and helped make all of this feel less like a reverie and more like reality. God truly does plant you where you need to be in order to blossom.

I hope these pictures illustrate my love for books — reading as well as writing. Ivy B. Photography works wonders behind the camera and her vision for this session was in complete alignment with me as an author and hobbiest.
