National virtual challenge win shines light on ACOM’s simulator program Dothan’s Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine has received national attention again for success in the annual simulator challenge. This year, a student team won the trophy in the virtual rendition.

ACOM wins national competition Students at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine have won a national competition.

Congratulations ACOM and Cotard's Delusionals for winning the Virtual SIM Challenge at AMSA's Annual Convention and Expo!! This year's SIM Challenge was transitioned to a virtual challenge using the Body Interact Clinical Education Platform. Sixteen teams of 3 from around the world each completed 2 virtual cases Friday afternoon. The top 4 teams were announced Saturday morning and moved to the final round this afternoon for 2 more virtual cases. After a suspenseful debriefing of the cases, ACOM was announced this year's AMSA SIM Challenge Champions!
