A few details from the home we’re working at this week

Old door k**b backplate looks a little better after I cleaned off the paint !
We’re detailing a 1930s home this week. I love homes from this era .
Only two of the doors in the house had been painted so I will show you the wood doors tomorrow 😍

I’m searching for an old wood hymn board if anyone out there has one or sees one!
A favorite childhood memory was seeing what hymns we would sing and looking them up in the hymnal and of course singing !!

A whimsical and exciting accent wall created with Spoonflower wallpaper .

Detailed painting done to highlight architectural ceiling feature. Colors inspired from wildflower wall art.

After about 100 wallpaper samples this was the one!
It looks like a beautiful woven fabric is in the wall doesn’t it?
Geometric patterns have to be hung to perfection as the pattern needs to be centered and level . This was a fun project 😍

I took some time off to sell my Holland rental property and move my son home from college .
I was also able to visit with my siblings in Ohio and Florida to celebrate graduations and my sister buying her dream property in Naples .
This week I’m so excited for many new projects and transformations . Work hard , play hard !!!! 50s mantra lol
