Little Explorers Learning Academy

Little Explorers Learning Academy was formed by early-childhood educators who saw a need for a hands-on, discovery-based early childhood center.
A year-round, hands-on, discovery-based early childhood center for potty trained children ages 3 to 5 helping children develop crucial preschool skills that ensure a successful future. Little Explorers Learning Academy was created to offer families a play-based school readiness program to help their children develop crucial preschool skills that ensure their success for years to come. Our goal is to create a positive nurturing environment to prepare our students with self-awareness, self-confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a classroom setting. Little Explorers is licensed for children 3 to 5 who are fully potty trained. This means they are able to self regulate when they need to go to restroom and are able to let a teacher know when they need to go potty without reminders. While we understand accidents happen and will always help our little one get cleaned up, having daily accidents means we are not yet fully potty trained and our center might not be a good fit! Our enrollment options:
Full Time is five days a week, Monday-Friday. We are open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and you are welcome to drop off and pick up anytime between those hours. We reccomend kiddos be at school by 8:45 so they are able to enjoy our morning academic groups and our midday art/science rotations. Full time enrollment is $695 a month.
2 full days a week: $315 a month
3 full days a week: $435 a month
4 full days a week: $575 a month
Our Part Time program is Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. This is a great option for families who are introducing their little one to a school setting and don't require full day childcare. Our part-time program includes our morning academic groups, our art and science rotations, music and movement and a snack before going home. This program is $225 a month.

We celebrated the first day of fall with our annual Scarecrow Party! We did fun crafts, had a dance party and made a delicious fall trail mix. Thank you to all the families for donating treats. The kiddos had such a great day!

🐹 Today we celebrated Wallace’s birthday! Wallace is our class guinea pig and he is the sweetest boy! The kiddos made him special drawings and brought him delicious fruits and vegetables. We sang to him while he enjoyed all his favorite snacks. Since carrots are Wallace’s very favorite food we served carrot cake and every single kiddo loved it! Then Wallace opened his birthday gifts while our Little Explorers talked about all the reasons we love him. It was such a special day and we appreciate everyone who sent in treats! 🐹💕

👩🚀 This week our Pilots (our kiddos who start at the age of 3) officially became Astronauts! (Our Astronauts are the Little Explorers who will head off to kindergarten next year.) It is VERY special to be an Astronaut at Lela so of course we had to celebrate. They each received their official astronaut necklace, a special drawing from last years Astronauts, and a lollipop while we did our first activity. We will spend the year getting them ready for kindergarten by playing lots of games and doing hands on activities to keep them engaged and having fun while learning! 🚀
